On 23 February 2024, the National Bank of Ukraine hosted an online Open Research Seminar. During the seminar, two papers were presented. Alex Nikolsko-Rzhevskyy (Professor at Lehigh University) and Oleksandr Talavera (Professor of Financial Economics at the University of Birmingham) presented the paper “Can central banks be heard over the sound of gunfire?”. Tetiana Yukhymenko (Deputy Head of the Division for Analysis of Real and Fiscal Sectors at the National Bank of Ukraine) and Oleh Sorochan (Principal Expert of the Division for Analysis of Real and Fiscal Sectors at the National Bank of Ukraine) present their research paper “Impact of the central bank's communication on macro-financial outcomes”.
