Main Functions:
- developing and taking measures to implement the state policy on protection of state secrets and technical means for protection of secret and classified information at the NBU
- ensuring control within the NBU over compliance with the requirements of laws and regulations in the area of state secret, technical protection of information, procedure for handling the physical media of secret information, internal security mode, safekeeping of restricted access facilities and measures to prevent disclosure of secret information during preparation and participation in meetings
- organization of uninterrupted operation of special types of communication.
