Liudmyla Yeropkina Appointed as Director of NBU Personnel Department

Liudmyla Yeropkina was appointed Director of the Personnel Department of the National Bank of Ukraine on 4 February 2025.

The role and responsibilities of the newly appointed Director of the Personnel Department will cover the following:

  • managing personnel and developing human capital in line with the NBU's Institutional Strategy
  • ensuring organizational efficiency and long-term sustainability of the team
  • ensuring high-quality and timely recruitment, youth engagement, and employee training
  • implementing modern systems for employee evaluation, development, and motivation
  • promoting the employer’s brand and transforming the corporate culture
  • developing an ergonomic and inclusive workspace.

The Personnel Department is part of the NBU’s General Function, a line of command that is under NBU Governor Andriy Pyshnyy’s general management and control.

“People are the most valuable asset of the NBU. Professionalism, expertise, and responsibility of each employee are the key to our efficiency. The future economic development of the country largely depends on the NBU’s decisions, which is why it is important not only to preserve our human resources potential but also to attract new talent, develop cooperation, and enhance engagement. We need to transform our corporate culture to reflect the current realities, specifically by implementing the staff care and support policy. We will pay special attention to the reintegration and adaptation of veterans and people with disabilities. These basic issues are a priority for us. They require inevitable changes: in the working environment, operational processes, and the staff policy. In my view, these should be the priorities of the new Director of the Personnel Department, and I hope for her effective leadership and proactivity,” said NBU Governor Andriy Pyshnyy.

At the same time, the NBU Governor thanked Liubov Pysana, who had been heading the Personnel Department since 2020 for her diligent work. Liubov Pysana had completed her long career at the NBU due to retirement.

“Thank you for your contribution to maintaining the high level of professionalism of the NBU team, especially during the full-scale invasion. Despite the enormous challenges, together we managed to develop our community, increase the human capital of the central bank, and encourage our employees to be even more motivated and productive. Your human-centered approach, extensive experience, and in-depth knowledge have always been relevant and important,” said Andriy Pyshnyy.
