Pursuant to Article 15 of the Law of Ukraine On the National Bank of Ukraine, Article 77 of the Law of Ukraine On Banks and Banking, and Article 44 of the Law of Ukraine On Households Deposit Guarantee System, at the request of the Deposit Guarantee Fund, the NBU has decided to revoke the banking license of BANK FORWARD JSC and liquidate it on 8 March 2023. This is according to NBU Board Decision No. 90–D dated 7 March 2023.
As previously reported, the NBU Board on 7 February 2023 approved a decision to declare BANK FORWARD JSC insolvent due to the bank’s failure to bring its activities in compliance with applicable laws and NBU regulations after the bank was designated a problem bank.
